Here are just a few of the worker bees who inspire and support Pop's Hives.
EMMA
Emma developed an allergy to petroleum in her chap stick. Surprise, it's in several cosmetics. The more she put on her lips to help heal them, the worse they got. We made our own healthy solution and she's been using it for years.
POP
Pop is the beekeeper who provides us with honey and the wax cappings we use to make our products. Without his love for his bees, we wouldn't have any honey or wax.
GRAM
Gram is allergic to a beezillion things, one of them, essential oils. She requested a lotion bar without any scent other than the natural aroma. Instead of scent free we call it naked.
ETHAN AND WILL
Ethan, Will and their friends sampled, tested, smelled and tasted just about every batch until we got it right. They have both contributed to the website and lived with the kitchen in chaos. <3
FRIENDS AND CO WORKERS
Especially the friends who said, "Heath, this is awesome, you should sell it!"
Kudos to everyone who tried a lip balm that was too mushy or too hard or the wrong texture until we got it down. Thank you for the honest feedback and patience.
